आता पर्यंत गेल्या शेकडो हजारो वर्षात अनेक खरे संत व ज्ञानी या जगात जन्मले आहेत व त्यानी जगाला मार्गदर्शन केले आहे. कृष्ण, बुद्ध, येशु ख्रिस्त, महावीर, नानक, कबीर, संत ज्ञानेश्वर, तुकाराम, समर्थ, J. Krishnmurti, रमण महर्षी अशी शेकडो नावे घेता येतील, शेकडो शेकडो ग्रंथात त्या तत्वाच वर्णन आहे व अनेक लोक अशी अशी कृती केली तर, अशी अशी साधना केली तर ती अनुभुती प्रकटते असे सांगतात पण तसे प्रयत्न करणाऱ्या कुणालाही तशी अनुभुती येताना दिसत नाही व जे स्वताला धार्मीक असे म्हणवतात, त्यांचे प्रत्यक्ष जिवनातील आचरण अत्यंत विरोधाभासी असते. सर्व धर्मात त्या तत्वाचा उल्लेख आहे पण हेच सर्व धर्म व त्यांचे धर्मगुरु एकमेकाशी संघर्ष व युद्ध करताना आढळतात. ईतक महत्वाच ते तत्व आहे, त्या तत्वाचा एव्हढा मोठा गलबला येथे चालु आहे पण ही अनुभुती मात्र प्रकटतच नाही असा सर्व सामान्य लोकांचा अनुभव आहे.
काय करत नाहीत हे लोक संशयाच्या भोवऱ्यात अडकुन, अध्यात्माच्या नावाखाली प्रचंड गोंधळ घातला आहे या अज्ञानी लोकानी या अध्यात्म क्षेत्रात.
अज्ञानी लोक संत विचारापासुन दुर गेल्याने सर्वत्र हिंसा, तणाव, चिंता, काळजी, संघर्ष व युद्धाचे वातावरण आहे. सार्वजनीक व वैयक्तीक जिवन चिंतानी तणावग्रस्त व दु:खपुर्ण झाले आहे. मग हे अज्ञानी गुरु सांगतात तुला जर देव प्राप्त झाला मग यातुन सुटुन जाण्यासाठी जो गुरु जे सांगेल ते हे लोक करत सुटतात, नामजप करणे, वाऱ्या करणे, मुर्ति पुजा करणे, उपवास तपास करणे,अन्नदान करणे, पोथी पुराण वाचणे, कोणत्या तरी पंथात वा संप्रदायात सामील होणे, भगवे वा हिरवे कपडे घालणे, भजन किर्तन करत रहाणे, तिर्थाला व चारीधामला जाणे दान धर्म करणे, प्रपंच्याचा त्याग करणे, हिमालयात निघुन जाणे, योग साधना वा प्राणायाम साधना करणे असा निरनिराळ्या मतांचा
गोंधळ येथे चालु आहे. याला JK conditioned mind म्हणतात.
J Krishnmurti सारखा माणुस येतो व आपल्याला सांगतो की,
"The totality of our conditioning can be broken, not bit by bit, not part by part which takes time and we have a huge stock of conditioning so the only way to freedom is to look and understand the observer observed phenomenon which is joint duality phenomenon. By directly perceiving the truth of the fact that observer is observed then that perception of truth dissolves the conditioning in one stroke of a glance. In understanding of the truth the false whithers away. The ignorant problem of life can not be tackled by mind or intellect or by effort but ignorance can be tackled by awakened insight and for awakening of insight there must be a unfettered choiceless observation.
In mind we have established a idea of separate ever enduring self as atman and untill this idea of seperate self exists there can be no true perception. This idea of separate self is real mischief monger, if mind liberates itself from this mischief monger at all levels of consciousness right up to emergence of consciousness then there is liberation from the idea of separate self and that is freedom. We have taken granted that separate self as being true and that is ignorance. Through clear thinking and intelligent action we can cross this stream of pain and sorrow.
Idea of seperate self is ignorance and the background of our tradition and habit which is blind prejudice in our consciousness process. That idea of seperate self prevents us from the complete understanding of all the layers of consciousness up to its origin. That idea of seperate self is real problem and that is the real reason behind the confusion and suffering in our life. I beg you to listen what is being said without your conditioning interfering in to observation. Once the mind is freed of wrong notion of self then that understanding frees you from the whole past which is store house of past conditioning. That belief of separate self prevents mind from the complete understanding of life. Freedom from all past prejudices and beliefs is must. The belief of separate self is blind belief which is real ignorance."
Further JK says,
"What we call religion is a set of prayers, rituals, dogma, wishing to find god, accepting the authority and a vast number of superstitions. The seeker who is really trying to find what is true must abandon all that. The mind must be free of all superstitions of gods and gurus and blind beliefs they have established in our mind and heart, then only such a pure choiceless observant mind is capable of discovery of truth. You must break away from idea of religion and the self.
The mind which has insight of observer is observed is pure and empty mind. And in such pure mind there appears the truth. Truth comes uninvited, when mind is pure without the misbelief of self. The mind which understands that there is no self, there is no me and mine that mind realises the truth of existence as process of consciousness in ignorance.
This all is real meditation.
Just learn how to look choicelessly without thev idea of self in mind and in that selfless looking whole ignorance whithers away."
माउली ज्ञानेश्वरीत म्हणते,
एक अंतरी निष्चळ,
जे निहाळता केवळ,
विसरले सकळ,
संसारजात ll...(अध्याय -2)
समर्थ रामदास स्वामी म्हणतात,
पहात पहात पाहे,
निसंग होवुनी राहे ll
ना तरी जाणीवेच्या ठिकाणी,
करता दधी कडसणी,
नवनीत निर्वाणी,
दिसो लागे ll
JK नी सर्व अंधश्रद्धा व misbeliefs सोडायला सांगीतले.
माउलीने पण तेच सांगीतले,
देव ते कल्पीत,
शास्त्रे ती शाब्दीक,
पुराणे सकळीक,
बाष्कळीक ll.......( गाथा )
मी सृजी पाळी संहारी,
ऐसे बोलती जे चरचरी,
ते अज्ञान गा अवधारी,
पंडुकुमरा ll... (अ -५/८२ )
अज्ञान समुळ संपता,
भ्रांती ती नाश पावता,
मग समजते अकृतत्वता,
ईश्वराची ll.... (अ-५/८३ )
